Horses. Humans. Healing.
This is grounded, honest work that helps you slow down, regulate your nervous system, and come back to yourself.
For the ones who carry everything… and have nowhere to put it down.
Horses don’t respond to who you pretend to be—they respond to what’s real.

Who
this is for
Braver Ground is a place where people slow down enough to hear themselves again. Rooted in equine-assisted learning, our work is about honesty, presence, and rebuilding trust—first within yourself, then with the world around you. Horses are not tools here; they are partners. They respond to what is real, not what is rehearsed, making them powerful teachers for growth, regulation, and meaningful change.
Braver Ground exists for those who are tired of holding it all together. For people navigating stress, grief, addiction, or life transitions, this is a space where nothing needs to be proven. The land and the horses create a natural rhythm that invites the nervous system to settle and the heart to open. Healing here is quiet, steady, and deeply human—guided by safety, presence, and connection, not expectation.
How It Works
This work is experiential and ground-based. There’s no riding, no performance, and no pressure to fix anything. Sessions are designed to slow the nervous system, build awareness, and allow insight to emerge through interaction with the horses.
Arrival & Grounding
We begin by settling into the space — noticing breath, body, and environment. This helps create safety and presence before engaging with the horses.
Working With the Horses
Participants interact with the horses on the ground through simple, guided experiences. Horses respond honestly to what’s happening in the moment, without judgment or expectation.
Reflection & Integration
We take time to reflect on what showed up — patterns, responses, or insights — and how these experiences connect to life beyond the arena.
This work is not therapy and does not replace mental health or medical care. It is a learning-based, experiential approach that can complement other forms of support.
Individual Curriculum-Based Programs
One-on-one programs guided by a structured curriculum and adapted to the individual. These programs support awareness, regulation, and insight through experiential interaction with the horses, with pacing adjusted to meet each participant where they are.
Programs typically run for a minimum of four weeks, allowing time for trust, continuity, and meaningful integration. Single introductory sessions may be available when appropriate.
Small Group Curriculum-Based Programs
Small group programs delivered through a defined curriculum and facilitated in an intentional group setting. These experiences focus on connection, boundaries, and relational patterns, while maintaining a pace that supports safety, regulation, and presence.
Programs typically run for a minimum of four weeks, allowing time for trust, continuity, and meaningful integration. Single introductory sessions may be available when appropriate.
Clinical & Program Partnerships
Curriculum-based equine-assisted programs offered in collaboration with clinicians, treatment centers, and community organizations. Programs are designed to complement existing therapeutic or recovery frameworks and delivered within clearly defined scope and boundaries.
